Artist Biography

The Story
Some artists have a pristine, organized studio. Cheyenne Horman is not one of them. Cheyenne Horman is a professional mess-maker, whose artistic process often involves more dirt, natural pigments, and "repurposed" junk than she'd care to admit. Drawing inspiration from the spiritual whispers of the natural world and the vibrant, often chaotic energy of the Texas Gulf Coast, her work explores the beautiful, messy truth of the human experience. Cheyenne believes that true art, much like life, is best when it's a little bit disorganized.
